Yes. Marketing and Advertising is all about the little details that are a total pain. For example, I am responsible for keeping a clients Pinterest account active and running everyday. This includes, making posts, following new people, un-follow old people, and sharing links from other websites. Now, when it may sound simple, and the idea of it really is, but it’s looking out for the little things that makes it complicated. I spend most of my time making sure I didn’t leave a typo anywhere or making sure the format is easy to read - it’s a lot of small busy work. I also spend time doing things for our clients that is more than just my specific assigned project. If I notice that something doesn’t make sense or if I think the general public wouldn’t understand the format, I go out of my way to change it. I do this because it’s important to care. Clients spend time building their companies and they don’t want the people they pay to do their marketing and advertising to be destroying all they have built. Part of our job at On The Dot Marketing is to take pains in order to take care of the little things. It wouldn’t be proper advertising if we didn’t make sure all aspects of a clients business is being portrayed the way it should.
